The fischerAppelt Corporation is the Federation of Ideas. Established in 1986 by the brothers Andreas and Bernhard Fischer-Appelt in Hamburg, the former PR agency has developed into a group of specialized communication agencies with several branches in Germany.
1986 Andreas and Bernhard Fischer-Appelt establish the agency Media Concept Öffentlichkeitsarbeit Fischer-Appelt GmbH in Hamburg.
1994 Opening of the first subsidiary in Berlin.
1996 10th anniversary
1998 Opening of the subsidiary in Munich.
2000 Renaming of the company into fischerAppelt Kommunikation.
2001 The design agency LIGALUX is established, emerging from fischerAppelt’s design department.
2001 The group is being restructured: The two companies fischerAppelt Kommunikation and LIGALUX start trading under the name of the newly established holding Everpublic AG.
2002 Together with seven international agencies, all focusing on healthcare communication, the independent global network GlobalHealthPR(GHPR)is established.
2003 The financial communications company fischerAppelt, ziegler with offices in Hamburg and Frankfurt is integrated into the Everpublic Corporation. At the same time another PR branch in Frankfurt opens its doors.
2004 fischerAppelt becomes the first and only German member of the independent international agency network Public Relations Organisation International (PROI).
2007 Acquisition of the DaimlerChrysler tv.media Corporation based in Stuttgart. The company now trades under the name fischerAppelt, tv media. With this acquisition the fischerAppelt group enters the TV and moving picture market and at the same time establishes another PR office in Stuttgart. By establishing fischerAppelt, profiling the corporation also lends its former internal strategy department some weight.
2008 The group is realigned and becomes the Federation of Ideas. The advertising agency fischerAppelt, furore is established in Hamburg and Berlin. As Federation of Ideas fischerAppelt continues to advise clients in the areas of PR, advertising, design, online, TV and strategy.
2010 Further advancement of the agency model: The former core agency becomes the PR agency fischerAppelt, relations and the holding company Everpublic AG trades under the new name fischerAppelt AG. The fischerAppelt Corporation is the Federation of Ideas.
2011 Appointment of Frank Behrendt as the third Managing Director of PR. Alongside Cologne and Dusseldorf additional new offices in North Rhine-Westphalia will be established under his direction. Merger of fischerAppelt, profiling and fischerAppelt, ziegler into the strategic communications consultancy fischerAppelt, advisors.
