| Hamburg, March 10th, 2008 – The fischerAppelt group continues its growth. Following increases by 14 percent in 2005 and 20 percent in 2006, the gross income of the Hamburg based public relations agency grew by another 32.4 percent to €24.1 Mio in 2007. The total revenue rose from €30 Mio to €39.7 Mio. The average number of employers increased by a fourth from 166 to 212. „We could strengthen our market position especially in the fields of advertising, internet and public relations.“, Andreas Fischer-Appelt comments the agency's last year performance. Advertising for instance contributed 33 percent to the revenue of fischerAppelt and therewith grew by 18 percent. „Campaigns for clients such as Knappschaft, the Federal Employment Agency and the German Energy Agency supported that growth“, Fischer-Appelt, one of the two agency owners, adds. A leading factor for the success has been the integrated realisation of advertising campaigns. |
The competence of placing issues efficiently in different media channels and thereby maximizing the impact of campaigns is a major USP of the agency in the market. The concentration on promising PR fields such as Healthcare-, Media-, Market- and Corporate Communication during the last years also supports the current success of fischerAppelt.
Besides the expertise on integrated campagins and promising PR fields, it is primarily the agency's sense for upcoming trends that is consistently reflected in its development. „Moving pictures on every media channel determine the future of communication“, Andreas Fischer-Appelt believes. With buying the DaimlerChrysler tv.media GmbH in June 2007, fischerAppelt became the first agency network that also focuses on moving pictures communication. A step that soon afterwards was copied by other competitors. The new formed fischerAppelt, tv media GmbH evolved from a classic production company to Germanys first agency for moving pictures communication. It delivers consulting, creation, production and distribution for successful communication with moving pictures. With the spin-off fischerAppelt, profiling GmbH fischerAppelt rolled out its former „Corporate Profiling“ Unit in September 2007. The new consulting agency for Management Communication strengthens the strategic Corporate Consulting of fischerAppelt in general. It offers communication consulting for Corporate Management, Top-Management-Positioning, Change Management, Brand Management and Corporate Social Responsibility.
Along with the two new companies, the remaining subsidiaries also continue their individual growth. fischerAppelt Munich for instance grew the most within the group in 2007 and with a new head, fischerAppelt Berlin improved its performance immensely compared to 2006. Together with the group's own design agency Ligalux, the fischerAppelt headquarter in Hamburg further enhanced its competences in Healthcare-, Media- and Corporate Communication. Thanks to numerous international customers, fischerAppelt Frankfurt looks forward to huge potentials especially in Brand Communication. And Financial Communication consultancy fischerAppelt, ziegler GmbH notes prospering business despite the periodic reluctance of many clients.
The new established structure of the agency group in mind, Andreas Fischer-Appelt states confidently: „With visionary projects such as the expansion of moving pictures communication and IPTV we hold the top position in the market. Our model of integrated communication across all media channels offers our customers more efficient campaigns. Particularly in times of a predicted weak economic growth we expect to succeed with our results oriented thinking.“
